I am the digital media specialist for the School of Journalism. I support students and professors using the labs in Stauffer-Flint, and develop technology training modules and videos for classroom and anywhere, anytime use by students. I am the creator and developer of JSchoolTech.org and its training sessions, site and materials.
I am an Adobe certified educator and trainer and have worked extensively using Adobe products for nearly 20 years.
I am a KU School of Journalism graduate. I also earned an education degree and a master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State.
Prior to returning ‘home’ to Stauffer-Flint, I worked as a high school journalism and digital art teacher in Blue Valley, Lawrence and Hays. I am excited to put my love of learning, journalism and working with others to use at the J-School.
